He was born in Istanbul in 1927. Academy of Fine Arts between 1944-51 Intelligent Warehouse Kocamemi worked. Finished painting department. In 1955 he went to Paris with a state scholarship. 


Workshops were run in 1956-57 Andre Lhote. 
Workshops were run in 1957-60 Henri Goetz. 
1960 was a research assistant at the Department of Painting DGSA 
1961 City Arts Festival Exhibition of Painting and Sculpture, Painting First Prize 
1962 23.Devlet Painting and Sculpture Exhibition, First Place Pictures 
1963 "Blue Group" u founded. 
1964-65 went to Paris with the French aid Hayter engravings in the Workshop, Goetz worked Atöltyesinde pictures 
1965 Salzburg Summer Academy in "Emilio Vedova Studio has worked in the picture. 
1966 İDGSA'da took the painting department faculty member.

Mimar Sinan University and became professor in 1976.
